Clutch Masters flexplate / flywheel. This is a build component selected by SPECIFICATION rather than by a single vehicle application: match the frame size, flange, wheel size and A/R to your build. If you are not certain what your build needs, ask a tech before ordering.

What it does

The flexplate connects the crank to the torque converter and carries the ring gear the starter engages. Cracked flexplates knock at idle and grind on start; the wrong bolt pattern or offset will not bolt up. A new plate with the correct pattern and ring-gear tooth count restores quiet starts.

How to choose

  • Match the compressor and turbine wheel sizes to your power target and drive style
  • Match the turbine housing A/R and flange to the manifold and downpipe you are running
  • Confirm the oil and coolant feed arrangement matches your engine
  • Check the part number against the component you are replacing

Fixes

  • a knock at idle that goes away under load
  • starter grinding on worn ring-gear teeth
  • an engine or transmission swap needing the matching plate

What's included

  • the flexplate or flywheel; bolts only where listed
