What it does

The fuel filter is the last defence for the injection system, trapping the dirt and water that destroy injectors and high-pressure pumps. Modern common-rail systems are unforgiving about both. A fresh correctly rated element restores full flow and protects the expensive parts downstream.

How to choose

• Match the compressor and turbine wheel sizes to your power target and drive style
• Match the turbine housing A/R and flange to the manifold and downpipe you are running
• Confirm the oil and coolant feed arrangement matches your engine
• Check the part number against the component you are replacing
