What it does

A differential is only as good as the bearings and shims holding the gears in mesh. An overhaul kit brings the carrier and pinion bearings, crush sleeve, seals and shims needed to set a ring and pinion up properly. Reusing old bearings on a new gear set is how a fresh regear ends up howling.
