What it does

Valve springs close the valve and keep the lifter on the lobe. Tired springs float valves at high rpm and break under aggressive cams. A matched spring kit with the right installed height, seat pressure and retainers is required for any cam swap and cures high-rpm misfire on a high-mileage engine.

How to choose

• Match the compressor and turbine wheel sizes to your power target and drive style
• Match the turbine housing A/R and flange to the manifold and downpipe you are running
• Confirm the oil and coolant feed arrangement matches your engine
• Check the part number against the component you are replacing
